Recognising the stages of conflict
One of the causes of conflict is a failure by people
to recognise that we react to conflict in different ways. Recognising these conflict patterns early on can allow staff to
diffuse and debate, rather than moving into a more aggressive or submissive stance which could ultimately result in
conflict escalation. The SDI® - Strength Deployment Inventory Tool® allows us to do this by breaking down our conflict patterns in detail. The end result is we can manage our own response
to conflict and those around us.
