Jim Brearley -
One of the founder members of Accelerate, Jim recently left the Royal Air Force where he served as a Physical
Education Officer. He latterly commanded the Royal Air Force’s premier Leadership and Personal Development Academy
~ a reputed Centre of Excellence for training contemporary leadership and team development skills to equip the modern-day
Military to fulfil its task. Jim’s background combines roles in HR, Organisational Development and Training and
Development; he has a deep-rooted passion in Emotional Intelligence and thrives on working with clients who aspire to achieve
high performing team status.
Graham Price -
A founding partner of Accelerate, Grahams career started in the Royal Navy where he trained as a Weapons Engineer
and Instructor. On leaving the Royal Navy, Graham continued into a successful Sales and Sales Management career before
a sports injury in the Mid 90's, that prevented him driving, led him into a Learning and Development role where he found his
true vocation. After 10 years in Senior Training and Development Roles for large corporate organisations such as Yell and
Reed Elsevier, Graham set up Accelerate to provide the very best in Team and Leadership Development. As well as being qualified
with the CIPD, Graham is also qualified to administer, MBTI, Belbin and Strength Deployment Inventory training
Paula Harris -
A Human Resources expert, and former HR Director, she brings more than 18 years' experience of formulating and delivering
HR development strategy for organisations such as ASDA, the Probation Service, Psion Computers and LexisNexis. Paula works
with us to ensure our programmes create an effective change in organisations long after we deliver them. As a project leader on global initiatives in organisational change, she has an outstanding track record of creating
impact and lasting results on individual performance, employee relations and corporate culture.
Paula is accredited in MBTI, holds an MA in Human Resources Management from Middlesex University and is a Fellow
of the CIPD. Paula is a Time Line therapist, a Hypnotherapist and NLP Practioner.
Bernadette Callanan
- Based in Bristol, Bernadette is an experienced sales coach and management trainer specialising in leadership, team performance
and training design, She has a particular focus and passion around designing programmes that tackle the barriers to effective
teamwork and combining this with her love of the outdoors as a place to work, working with teams as they empower each other
during team challenges. A chartered Member of the CIPD, Bernadette also regularly visits the Balkans as a humanitarian aid
worker and the Alps as a BASI ski instructor as beginners start their adventure in snow sports.
John Fillingham
- With over 17 years experience in both Corporate HR and Training, he delivers programmes widely across Europe (up to
ILM level 5), with a Masters Degree in Strategic and International HR, John’s speciality is in the understanding of
international culture and communication. As a former senior HR manager and regional training manager, John has a wide consultancy
experience designing, delivering training and coaching directors and senior managers using the latest accelerated learning
techniques.. A great track record of excellent results ensures John is a high impact performer, with qualifications in Business
Coaching, Life Coaching and a Master NLP practitioner. John is a Fellow of the CIPD and RSA and can administer MBTI &
SDI.
