With so many people in organisations managing specific projects, it is sometimes hard to distinguish where projects start and tasks finish. Also many project management methodologies are theoretical and may be more akin to taking a sledgehammer to crush a nut (even if it is a large nut!). We work with companies to develop the first level skills of project management for staff who want practical skills on how to run a project effectively, without endless theory. Any business objective that needs be to be completed on time, within budget and at a certain level of quality, invariably involving more than one person could be defined as a Project. So it is a broad brush and most managers have some responsibility for project management, but many have not had formal training to ensure they are operating within best practice guidelines
We run two specific training programmes on project management, but there are also elements of project management covered on many of our training programmes. A typical example would be Change Management which although focusing on the practical steps of change, the most successful change projects are those where a well crafted project management process is designed and implemented.
This workshop provides delegates with a structured framework to allow them to plan, monitor and control all aspects of a projectFor more information Click here.
This programme will also incorporate using “Microsoft Project” as the basis for organising monitoring and controlling the component parts of a project. For more information Click here.
