Myers-Briggs Training Courses & Workshops

We run a number of MBTI based workshops where we can incorporate the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step 1 or Step 2 and these tend to be half day or full day programs. These in-house training courses are focused around communication styles and how to adapt them to increase effective communication with a wider range of people. This in turn can increase personal effectiveness when managing a team and other people that need to be influenced by you. The region specific versions allow us to effectively work with multinational teams

The MBTI can be used easily in group settings and training courses and has a wide range of workplace applications. A typical set of objectives for a Myers Briggs training course would be:-

By the end of the Training Course attendees will be able to:-

  • Identify their Myers Briggs Type and the MBTI Dimensions.
  • Describe their own type preferences in terms of the Myers-Briggs type indicator and how they prefer to interact.
  • Recognise behaviour cues from each type preference and how others prefer to receive communication
  • Use alternative ways of communicating with people of different type preferences.
  • Tailor and adapt their approach to ensure they engage their target audience.

If we are using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator in a group session we will generally provide the MBTI at slightly over cost and can run training courses with up to 20 people attending.

We are qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioners and have had experience using MBTI in the UK, Europe and throughout the US and Asia for both training sessions and on a one to one basis. Available in multiple languages, it is one of the few tools that is truly universal and has subtle differences in the region specific versions that make it great for an international organisation or team. We are able to administer Step I and the less commonly used, but more detailed, Step II Instrument.

Poor communication is cited as one of the biggest issues on most company satisfaction surveys yet few people will admit they could improve their communication skills. We find that working with the Myers Briggs preference tool, people start to realise their communication skills can be quickly and dramatically improved.

We would be happy to discuss how to use the MBTI in your organisation to improve communication and personal effectiveness. Although we are based near London our team work across the UK and further afield as required.
